Studying fine art at The MacIntosh Glasgow School of Art, I learned the fundamentals of expression through materials and imagery. While there, I was lucky enough to have a friend introduce me to silver-smithing and quickly realised this was my future…What I wanted to be doing.
I have been playing with metal ever since - learning new skills and techniques as I go, but aways enjoying the ability to express myself through my creations.
I make jewellery that is tactile and is made to be worn everyday. A loved bangle should never sit in a box in a drawer. Show it off and love it.
I am obsessed with hoops and repetition. Texture, reflection and movement also play a big part in my design. I believe that your favourite jewellery should move with you and become part of you.
